WHAT TO EXPECT

CONSULTATION
Our journey begins with a brief, personalised conversation. Once we know we are the right fit, we will start planning your family photography session. Additionally, I'll send you a short questionnaire that will help me learn more about you and your family and ensure I can deliver a wonderful photography experience.

YOUR SESSION
While I am in your home or at your chosen outdoor location, my priority is to make you feel comfortable and have a fun experience. I'll guide your family, encouraging interactions filled with laughter, playfulness and affection, all while preserving these moments through my lens.
The duration of a photo session usually ranges from 1 to 1.5 hours.

THE FINAL PRODUCT
Your photos will be ready within seven days, and you will be invited to access your password-protected proofing gallery to view and select your favourite images. Following this, I will curate a range of photography products, including a photo album and a selection of wall art, to assist you in visualising and choosing the best products for you.

I WOULD LIKE TO BOOK A PHOTO SESSION, HOW SHOULD I PROCEED?

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK MY PHOTO SESSION?
Providing a great experience to each one of my clients is my priority. To maintain this standard, I limit the number of families I work with each month. To secure your preferred day, I highly recommend booking at least one month in advance.
DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH EXTENDED FAMILIES?
Absolutely, I am comfortable working with families of up to around 30 people. Usually, I aim to capture a group shot, photos of grandparents with adult children, grandparents with grandchildren, individual families and if time permits, I also take individual shots of the young children. And of course, I'm open to accommodating any specific group shots requested by the family.
WILL MY PHOTOS BE SHARED ONLINE?
I understand some families prefer to keep their photos private, and I absolutely respect that. I will never share your photos without your permission.
WHAT HAPPENS IN CASE OF BAD WEATHER ON THE DAY?
If the weather brings a gentle drizzle, I am usually happy to proceed with the photography session. For more challenging conditions, we have the option to either relocate the photo session to your home or reschedule.
DO YOU OFFER GIFT VOUCHERS?
Certainly! You can purchase any amount you would like and the gifted person will be able to redeem it towards the cost of their photo session.
WILL YOU ADVISE ME ON WHAT TO WEAR FOR MY PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION?
Absolutely, I'm delighted to provide guidance on attire that photographs well. However, above all, I want you and your family to feel both stunning and at ease in your chosen outfits. For a head start in planning, please refer to this blog post.
DO YOU RECOMMEND ANY OUTDOOR LOCATIONS?
I often suggest selecting a location close to your heart, one you and your family love.
For those visiting Ireland, I have a few outdoor spots I recommend, including Malahide Castle, Newbridge House and Farm, Skerries Beach, Howth, Dublin City Center, Marlay Park, and Sandymount Beach.
CAN MY PET TAKE PART IN THE PHOTO SESSION?
Absolutely! Your pets are more than welcome to join in the fun!
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE UNTIL MY PHOTOS ARE READY?
Your photos will be ready in just about a week following your photo session.
HOW LONG UNTIL MY PHOTOS & PRODUCTS ARE DELIVERED?
While photo albums and framed images may take up to four weeks for delivery, digital images are available for instant download.
WILL MY PHOTOS BE EDITED?
Each and every photo receives a natural editing process. I do not alter shapes or remove elements from the images. Should you have specific requests, we can discuss them, potentially incurring an additional charge.
DO YOU TRAVEL FOR PHOTO SESSIONS OUTSIDE DUBLIN?
Certainly, I am available to come to your home or your favourite outdoor location anywhere in Meath, Louth, Kildare, and Wicklow. Depending on the exact location, a small travel fee may apply.
WHAT IS BREASTFEEDING AN ACT OF LOVE
This is a personal photography project where I captured and shared images of breastfeeding mothers, seeking to normalise this act of nurturing love.
