I wrote this post about how my family photo sessions work to answer some of your questions!
I know you are busy so I made this process really simple!
Here we go..
Before your session, we have a consultation (a chat on the phone to discuss details, location, day and time, what to wear, ideas for your session and also for us to get to know each other a little bit).
A few days before, I send you a reminder to make sure you put that nice outfit in the washing machine and it's ready for our session!
While I'm in your home (or at the location you chose) I will give you prompts to get your family interact and will be shooting away. I'm always looking for candid moments and interactions, but I also give you directions and sometimes I ask you to smile and look at my camera.
When I get home, I download your precious photos first thing, I am always excited to see them on my computer screen and start editing them. I carefully go through all the photos and make sure only the best ones make it to your proofing gallery.
When your photos are ready, I will send your proofing gallery for you to view and choose your favourite ones.
Using your favourite photos, I create an album and some wall art mock ups to help you decide on the best products for you.
When I get your approval, I'll send your products into production and will be in touch again when they are ready for delivery!
